Missing Level?
Some believe there is a level missing from the final version. In the stage select code, it goes from levels 1, to levels 3. Some people seem to think that the desert area on the planet (as can be seen after getting good times on the time trials or on the load screen for the pc version) may be the missing level.



Some people think this is the missing level from Sonic CD. Why? Because it shows an unfamilar level area. However, most of the game takes place in various organic/mechanical situations, so personally, I think this is horse shit. But yet, the counterarguement is, there seems to be a missing slot. This slot is known as "R2". Because if you look at the level files off the CD, they have a list of levels. R2 is missing from the list.
